The Waldrons were heavily concentrated in Mayo, home to 54.3% of them (659 people). Next came Dublin (182), Roscommon (112), Wicklow (73) and Galway (61).

That low figure reflects just how many children there were in Edwardian Ireland, along with high infant mortality and the limits of public health at the time.
