The Cinnamonds were heavily concentrated in Antrim, home to 61.2% of them (93 people). Next came Down (45), Cavan (7), Armagh (2) and Derry (2).

The average Cinnamond in 1911 was 27.7 years old, 27.0 for men and 28.4 for women; a touch younger than the national averages of 29.6 for men and 30.5 for women. That low figure reflects just how many children there were in Edwardian Ireland, along with high infant mortality and the limits of public health at the time. For comparison, average life expectancy in Ireland today is around 83.
Cinnamond literacy in 1911
Of the Cinnamonds whose literacy was recorded, 86.1% could both read and write, 2.1% could read but not write, and 11.8% could do neither. Women came out slightly ahead, 87.5% reading and writing against 84.7% of men. Bear in mind these figures include young children; the census itself only counted people aged nine and over when calculating illiteracy, on the grounds that it was unfair to label a child illiterate before they'd had a chance to learn.

The most common male names were James (6), Joseph, Robert, George and William. For women it was Mary (6), followed by Annie, Elizabeth, Margaret and Jane.

The most common entry on a Cinnamond's census form was "Scholar"; 27.6% (42) were children at school. Among the rest, the most common occupations were textile worker (9.2%), shopkeeper / shop assistant / dealer (5.9%), farm labourer (4.6%) and general labourer (4.6%). Grouped by sector, textiles & clothing accounted for 10.5% of all Cinnamonds, followed by agriculture, retail & commerce and general labourers.
What religion is Cinnamond?
Most Cinnamonds, 57.9%, were Anglican. The remainder were mostly Roman Catholic (15.1%), Methodist (12.5%), Presbyterian (7.9%) and Non-Conformist (0.7%).
