Among the rest, the most common occupations were farmer (15.8%), farm labourer (8.8%), carpenter / joiner (2.6%) and domestic servant (2.6%). Grouped by sector, agriculture accounted for 25.4% of all Finnans, followed by domestic service, metal & engineering and building & construction.
