Among the rest, the most common occupations were farmer (9%), general labourer (8.1%), textile worker (6.3%) and farm labourer (3.6%). Grouped by sector, agriculture accounted for 14.4% of all Tumiltys, followed by textiles & clothing, general labourers and manufacturing & trades.
What religion is Tumilty?
Tumiltys were overwhelmingly Roman Catholic, 97.3% of them. The remainder were mostly Presbyterian (1.8%) and Anglican (0.9%).
