Utility Structures
Bunowen More is a townland on the Connemara coast of County Galway, a stretch of western Ireland where the landscape shifts constantly between bog, inlet, and Atlantic sky.
Somewhere within it sits a structure recorded simply as a building, a designation that in archaeological terms can cover almost anything: a roofless shell, a partial gable, the ghost of a floor plan visible only from above. The very blankness of the category is part of what makes it interesting. Something was built here, and it was considered significant enough to record, yet the details remain, for now, out of public reach.
