Together they partially enclose a cleared, level area of ground, a patch of green that someone, at some point, deliberately shaped and kept open. It is the kind of place that passes unremarked, yet the arrangement of these relict walls around that open space implies an organised working environment rather than simple enclosure for its own sake.

The longer of the two boundary sections runs roughly northward for about 22 metres, departing from an east-west wall that still stands upright, and terminating at the point where a track meets the green area. This section has been levelled flush with the ground, so only its footprint remains. The second section, around 14 metres long, sits at the northwest corner of the same green area and was constructed along the top of a steep natural scarp, using the landform itself as part of the boundary logic. A hut site lies approximately 12 metres to the northwest of this second section, and a historic sheep fold sits further to the east. Taken together, these elements point toward a small pastoral settlement, likely a seasonal or upland farming complex, where people sheltered, animals were penned, and fields were managed within a tight, deliberate arrangement of space.
