Kiln - corn-drying, Ogúil, Co. Galway

Kilns
In the boulder-strewn peatland of Ogúil in County Galway, a small stone kiln sits so thoroughly tucked among the rocks that it barely registers as a human-made thing at all.
That invisibility was entirely deliberate. The people who built and used it needed it to go unnoticed, because its primary purpose was not quite the drying of grain.
