This one on the Dingle Peninsula is more ambiguous. What survives at Móin An Fhraoigh is not a complete ring at all, but a quadrant-shaped enclosure, its western and southern sides absorbed into ordinary straight field walls, while the remaining arc of its perimeter survives as an earthen bank rising to about 1.5 metres. The interior, modest in scale at roughly 11 by 14 metres, is scattered with overgrown stone debris, and among that debris there are possible traces of a rectangular house site, a faint suggestion that someone once lived within these boundaries.

The site appeared on the first edition of the Ordnance Survey map marked with a single ring of hachures, the conventional shorthand surveyors used to indicate an earthwork, and was labelled simply "Fort" on the Fair Plan. That cartographic record is now one of the more reliable clues to what the site once looked like, since the field walls that form two of its sides have long since been folded into the working agricultural landscape around it. J. Cuppage documented the site as part of the Corca Dhuibhne archaeological survey of the Dingle Peninsula, published in 1986, a survey that catalogued the extraordinary density of early monuments across this part of County Kerry. The gradual merging of ancient enclosures into later field systems is common throughout Ireland, but it tends to blur the boundary between archaeology and ordinary farmland in ways that make sites like this easy to overlook entirely.
