The most common occupation among Crothys was farmer, 21.7% of them (13 people). Next came scholar / student (8.3%), domestic servant (6.7%), farm labourer (6.7%) and general labourer (5%). Grouped by sector, agriculture accounted for 28.3% of all Crothys, followed by domestic service, general labourers and professional.
