The Fleetons were heavily concentrated in Antrim, home to 66.7% of them (40 people). Next came Down (9), Meath (5), Cork (4) and Westmeath (2).

The average Fleeton in 1911 was 29.0 years old, 26.6 for men and 31.3 for women; almost exactly in line with the national averages of 29.6 for men and 30.5 for women. That low figure reflects just how many children there were in Edwardian Ireland, along with high infant mortality and the limits of public health at the time. For comparison, average life expectancy in Ireland today is around 83.
Fleeton literacy in 1911
Of the Fleetons whose literacy was recorded, 80.4% could both read and write, 0% could read but not write, and 19.6% could do neither. Women came out slightly ahead, 84% reading and writing against 76.9% of men. Bear in mind these figures include young children; the census itself only counted people aged nine and over when calculating illiteracy, on the grounds that it was unfair to label a child illiterate before they'd had a chance to learn.

The most common male names were George (3), James, William, Ralph and Eric Ralph. For women it was Elizabeth (3), followed by Jane, Margaret, Mary and A Josephine.

The most common entry on a Fleeton's census form was "Scholar"; 16.7% (10) were children at school. Among the rest, the most common occupations were farmer (15%), general labourer (6.7%), seamstress (3.3%) and shopkeeper / shop assistant / dealer (3.3%). Grouped by sector, agriculture accounted for 16.7% of all Fleetons, followed by general labourers, retail & commerce and textiles & clothing.
What religion is Fleeton?
Most Fleetons, 50%, were Anglican. The remainder were mostly Roman Catholic (26.7%) and Moravian (23.3%).
