The most common male names were Thomas (7), Patrick, James, John and Michael; the same five names that topped the list nationally. For women it was Mary (7), followed by Bridget, Annie, Ellen and Anne.

The most common entry on a Hade's census form was "Scholar"; 25.8% (16) were children at school. Among the rest, the most common occupations were general labourer (9.7%), carpenter / joiner (3.2%), domestic servant (3.2%) and farm labourer (3.2%). Grouped by sector, general labourers accounted for 9.7% of all Hades, followed by agriculture, building & construction and domestic service.
