Grouped by sector, agriculture accounted for 27% of all Lallys, followed by domestic service, general labourers and textiles & clothing.

Lallys were overwhelmingly Roman Catholic, 97.1% of them. The remainder were mostly Anglican (1.6%) and Methodist (0.7%).
