Among the rest, the most common occupations were farmer (15.3%), farm labourer (6.9%), clerk / office worker (2.1%) and miner / quarryman (2.1%). Grouped by sector, agriculture accounted for 22.2% of all Langtons, followed by building & construction, clerical & administration and mining & quarrying.

Langtons were overwhelmingly Roman Catholic, 98.9% of them. The remainder were mostly Unitarian (1.1%).
