Grouped by sector, general labourers accounted for 11.5% of all Leebodys, followed by agriculture, metal & engineering and textiles & clothing.

Leebodys were overwhelmingly Presbyterian, 90.4% of them. The remainder were mostly Anglican (1.9%).
