Among the rest, the most common occupations were farmer (13%), domestic servant (5.6%), fisherman (5.6%) and farm labourer (3.7%). Grouped by sector, agriculture accounted for 16.7% of all Lyddys, followed by domestic service, fishing and general labourers.

Lyddys were overwhelmingly Roman Catholic, 98.1% of them. The remainder were mostly Anglican (1.9%).
