Grouped by sector, textiles & clothing accounted for 7.7% of all McCappins, followed by transport, food & drink and manufacturing & trades.

Most McCappins, 60.4%, were Anglican. The remainder were mostly Methodist (17.6%), Presbyterian (17.6%) and Roman Catholic (2.2%).
