Bear in mind these figures include young children; the census itself only counted people aged nine and over when calculating illiteracy, on the grounds that it was unfair to label a child illiterate before they'd had a chance to learn.

Among the rest, the most common occupations were farmer (7.9%), general labourer (6.1%), farm labourer (4.9%) and seamstress (4.4%). Grouped by sector, agriculture accounted for 12.8% of all McCreadys, followed by textiles & clothing, general labourers and domestic service.
What religion is McCready?
The largest religious group among McCreadys was Anglican, at 38.9%. The remainder were mostly Presbyterian (32.5%), Roman Catholic (25.7%), Methodist (1.7%) and Baptist (0.8%).
