Grouped by sector, agriculture accounted for 12.6% of all McFeeterses, followed by general labourers, textiles & clothing and metal & engineering.

Most McFeeterses, 67.8%, were Anglican. The remainder were mostly Presbyterian (21.8%), Roman Catholic (8%) and Methodist (2.3%).
