Among the rest, the most common occupations were textile worker (13.7%), farmer (10.5%), shopkeeper / shop assistant / dealer (6.3%) and general labourer (5.3%). Grouped by sector, textiles & clothing accounted for 15.8% of all McGaffins, followed by agriculture, retail & commerce and general labourers.
What religion is McGaffin?
McGaffins were predominantly Presbyterian (81.1%). The remainder were mostly Anglican (11.6%) and Methodist (7.4%).
