Among the rest, the most common occupations were farmer (8.6%), general labourer (4.2%), textile worker (3.7%) and domestic servant (2.8%). Grouped by sector, agriculture accounted for 12.3% of all McLeans, followed by textiles & clothing, domestic service and general labourers.
What religion is McLean?
The largest religious group among McLeans was Presbyterian, at 34.7%. The remainder were mostly Anglican (30.9%), Roman Catholic (26.6%), Baptist (2.2%) and Methodist (1.6%).
