Among the rest, the most common occupations were farmer (8.5%), textile worker (7.7%), farm labourer (5%) and seamstress (3.5%). Grouped by sector, agriculture accounted for 14.2% of all McPeakes, followed by textiles & clothing, domestic service and general labourers.
What religion is McPeake?
McPeakes were predominantly Roman Catholic (88.1%). The remainder were mostly Presbyterian (7.7%), Anglican (3.1%) and Methodist (1.2%).
