Among the rest, the most common occupations were butcher (12%), cook (4%), domestic servant (4%) and general labourer (4%). Grouped by sector, food & drink accounted for 14% of all Pattys, followed by domestic service, textiles & clothing and agriculture.
What religion is Patty?
Most Pattys, 54%, were Unitarian. The remainder were mostly Presbyterian (24%), Roman Catholic (12%) and Anglican (10%).
